Sustainable Local Fundraising and Digital Marketing

In line with Don Bosco Tech Africa mission of Enhancing youth development in Africa through efficient resource management and Skill Training, Don Bosco Tech Africa organized a training workshop with the theme Sustainable Local Fundraising, for twenty seven participants drawn from Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Benin, Mali, Rwanda, Uganda, Cameroon,  Madagascar, Angola, Mozambique, Nigeria, Malawi and South Sudan. They have been attending a workshop on Sustainable Local Fundraising in Maputo, Mozambique. The training is conducted by Fr. MC George SDB from Mission Department in Rome and Mrs. Nisha Purushothaman.

The training which began on 17^th September, 2019 with the aim of equipping the Job Service Officers and the PDO with Fundraising skills covers various topics including building a learning environment, developing trusting relations, team building, motivation and problem solving, decision making, effective communication skills, and Gender, equality.

The program has various learning methods which include lectures, group discussions, role plays and group projects.
