Successful ERP Training Workshop Held by Don Bosco Tech Africa
Nairobi, 9th November 2024 – Don Bosco Tech Africa concluded a successful training workshop on the Acme ERP system, held from 5th to 9th November 2024. The workshop brought together 21 participants, including provincial accountants and ecomners from five provinces: AET, AFE, ANN, AOS, and the AFE-SUDAN delegation. Fr. George TJ CIVAM Economer, Fr. Gerald of SAFCAM and the DBTA accountant were in attendance.
The training was conducted by Mr. Alexander and Fr. Thaddeus Gregory of Bosco Soft Technologies Pvt Ltd. Hosted at the Don Bosco Youth Educational Services in Nairobi, the workshop aimed to enhance financial management and practices within the Provinces and Don Bosco Institutions.
The focus of the workshop was on the customization of the accounting software to improve efficiency and automate key financial operations. This initiative is part of a pilot phase involving 11 countries and 73 institutions, with plans to scale up to other Don Bosco Centres in the future.
