The first “Austrian Trade Mission Train” made a stop in Ghana from March 8 – March 10, 2020, bringing together Austrian companies, Ghanaian Business Community and the German Business Association (AHK) with the Austrian Embassy Representative from Abuja, Mr. Guido Stock.
The Salesians of Don Bosco in AFW-Province were introduced to this delegation by Don Bosco Tech Africa. Among the AFW-Province Officials present were: Mr. Boateng Benson, AFW Provincial TVET-Coordinator; Fr Maximus Okoro, Planning & Development Office Director from Nigeria; Mr. Benedict Mensah, National JSO from Ghana and Fr. Thomas Pallithanam, SDB Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
On March 10, 2020, the Austrian Embassy under the Austrian Consular General in Accra, H.E. Rosemary Orthner invited for a Business Networking Cocktail at the Sun City Hotel in Accra. A discussion on Educata 2020 and TVET delivery ensued during this engagement.
