Meeting of the Work Package (WP) Leaders and the SAAM Project Steering Committee in Luanda, Angola
The second intermediary meeting for @saammobility was held in Luanda, Angola, from June 27 to June 30. The SAAM Project Steering Committee and Work package (WP) Leaders were among the attendees. The team visited Don Bosco TVET School in Lixeira and took some time to reflect on the project’s first two years. They also went to the Maduvas Center, where the Project SAAM is being implemented, and Mama Margarita’s House, where Salesians of Don Bosco look after children who are at risk of social marginalization.
Don Bosco Tech Africa was represented at the meeting by Mr. Jean Nepo, a project officer, and Fr. George Tharaniyil (TJ), the organization’s executive director. 14 out of the 17 participating schools in Africa come from the DBTA network.
SAAM is a project that promotes mobility for TVET students and professionals. SAAM brings together more than 37 partners in Africa and Europe.
