Ecole Technique et Professionnelle – Tshikapa procures Modern equipment

  • News

ACC Province: Ecole Technique et Professionnelle Maman Olive Lembe in Tshikapa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has procured training equipment for construction and electric trade. Upgrading of these training equipment and material is to respond to the results of the recent Labor Market Survey conducted by the Provincial TVET office, and was coordinated by Don Bosco Tech Africa (DBTech Africa)

Tshikapa is a remote town located around 900 km from Kinshasa, the capital city of DRC. This denies the youth in the region access to modern training facilities. The initiative is hoped to compliment Salesian efforts in ensuring quality and accessible TVET education.

Modernization is one of the key pillars under the Global Programme coordinated by Don Bosco Tech Africa, which aims to boost the quality of training and infrastructure in Don Bosco TVET Centres in Africa-Madagascar, giving the young African generation a better start in life.
