Capacity Development Training for the Salesian TVET Centre Management

This week (from 18^th May to 19^th May 2021), over 90 Salesian TVET Centre Management Staff drawn from Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe participated in the introductory sessions of the ongoing Capacity Development Training.

The course commenced with a presentation from Fr. Patrick Anthonyraj from the Youth Ministry Department, Rome, on ”Rationale of Don Bosco TVET Centres”. The virtual training was moderated by Mr. Stefano Merante, the Skills Development and TVET Program Officer at the International Training Centre of ILO (ITC-ILO).

This marks the beginning of an eight-week journey of the training which is being facilitated by ITC-ILO and organized by Don Bosco Tech Africa.

The training is expected to end on 16^th July 2021.
