Fr. TJ George appointed new Provincial Superior of AFE Province

We are delighted to inform you that Fr. TJ George has been appointed as the new superior of the AFE province, which covers Kenya, Sudan and South Sudan. Fr. George is a well-known and respected figure in the Salesian family, having served as the Director of Don Bosco Tech Africa since 2014. He has been instrumental in promoting and coordinating the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programs of the Salesians in Africa and Madagascar.

Fr. George will take over the leadership of AFE Province from Fr. Simon Lipuku, who has finished his six-year term. We express our gratitude to Fr. Simon Lipuku for his faithful service and his many accomplishments in enhancing the Salesian presence and mission in the region and as the DBTA board chairperson. We also congratulate Fr. George on his new appointment and wish him all the best in his new role. We are sure that he will continue to motivate the Salesians and the young people in the AFE province with his vision, passion and charisma.
