DON BOSCO FEAST CELEBRATION

DON BOSCO FEAST CELEBRATION

Don Bosco Tech Africa commemorated Don Bosco Feast in a special way. DBTA management organized a seminar for the staff members on Salesian Pedagogy to make them more effective and efficient in their work.  The Seminar was facilitated by Br. John Njuguna, Deputy Director Don Bosco Tech Africa.

“In every young person, a point of goodness is accessible, and it is the primary duty of the educator to discover that sensitive cord of the heart to draw out the best in the young person.” St. John Bosco.

Br. John quoted Don Bosco in his opening statement to highlight the Salesian approach to education. He then invited all to adopt this viewpoint and nurture the good seed in the young people which in the end will help them have a quality life.

The seminar helped DBTA staff understand the life of Don Bosco, his philosophy, and the Salesian charism. Understanding the life of Don Bosco and his philosophy will help enhance the mission of DBTech Africa in improving the lives of the poor and marginalized young people in Africa.

Fr. Camiel Swertvagher from Salesian Formation Cenntre Africa Madagascar (SAFCAM) presided over the Eucharistic Celebration, which served as the feast’s high point.
