Capacity Building for Salesian TVET Centre Managers

The second phase of the Training of Trainers for Salesian TVET managers kicked off today in Nairobi, Kenya and will continue for the next five days. Participants are drawn from the Francophonie and the Lusophone speakers. The first training workshop took place in January 2022.

This training aims to equip TVET managers with skills and competencies to manage TVET centres effectively and efficiently.

In his welcoming remarks, Fr. George Tharaniyil, Don Bosco Tech Africa Executive Director, reminded the participants that it is their responsibility to make this training sustainable. As a result, they are required to pass on the knowledge to others in their Provinces.

The training is organized by Don Bosco Tech Africa and in partnership with the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC-ILO).
