After-Action Review Workshop for the Green TVET Project
After Action Review is an important aspect of project management. It helps in identifying and documenting best practices, gaps and lessons during the implementation of the project. From 24th – 25th August 2023, Don Bosco Tech Africa in partnership with Bob Wellington consultancy firm organized a two-day After-Action Review workshop for the Green TVET project at the Roussel House, Karen-Nairobi.
The workshop brought together the three Green Specialists from Angola, Kenya and Madagascar and 13 Green Facilitators from Angola, Burundi, Kenya, Nigeria and Madagascar.
Giving his official opening remarks of the workshop, Mr. Thomas Faber, the DB Tech Africa Program Coordinator reminded the participants that their feedback was very crucial in the planning of phase II of the project. Furthermore, he reminded them of the importance of documenting stories of change in the project as this will help demonstrate the project’s impact in their respective Don Bosco’s TVET centres.
During this interactive workshop session, all participants happily and willingly shared project successes, implementation challenges, and recommendations for areas of improvement to ensure the success of the next phase of the project in their respective countries.
